Assam is known for its National Parks and Sanctuaries. Assam is one of the best destinations where one can encounter a great variety of rare and endangered wildlife. Assam is the only state in India which has such a vast variety of wildlife. Twenty out of forty one listed endangered species of wildlife are found here. Some of rarest animal species are found here.
